After the sun has set

         These photographs are all long exposures of 30 seconds or greater at dusk or night, and record every aspect of light in the viewfinder. The majority are 'light trails' for which I set the camera up on the roadside, and anticipate a car driving past, and as it does take the picture to record its headlights/taillights. I then leave the shutter open to capture any light left in the sky, be it sunlight or light pollution from a neighbouring town. Some of the photos are star trails, and follow the rotation of stars in the sky, often for an exposure of around 25 mintues or longer. Others depict scenes I have come across at night.
