It is not just hunting that I love to photograph, but any aspect of the countryside - it is my life, and as such, I love to document its idiosyncrasies, people, events, and a whole way of life that is slowly disappearing.

I am available for photographic commissions also, of pets – dogs, horses, or your local hunt and events (hunt ball, puppy show etc.) shoots, hunting weddings, and much more.

Out in the hunting field

"Sarah Farnsworth is becoming a familiar face out hunting, and has hunted with over 60 packs (foxhounds, staghounds, beagles, bassets and minkhounds) with her camera.

She is regularly featured in the top hunting magazines - 'Hounds,' 'Horse and Hound', 'Hunting with Country Illustrated' and most recently 'Venerie'.

Her family run a fine arts business so Sarah has always been exposed to artistic images. It wasn’t long before she picked up a camera when foot following with her grandfather, their local packs being the Heythrop, North Cotswold and Warwickshire. She went on to study photography, first a City and Guilds course, followed by a Foundation Fine Art course, where she received a Distinction for her project based on ‘the working life of The North Cotswold Hunt Kennels’, a subject which caused some interest within the art school.

She has never looked back and her work speaks for itself.
Hunting and photography are her passions in life;
She has a fresh eye, attention to detail and bags of energy "

As quoted by Annie Cairns, former MFH to the Old Surrey and Burstow Hunt
